Description : Presentation focuses on how two major megaprojects in Montreal were in opposition - a major hospital project, the McGill University Health Centre, and the Turcot Complex Interchange Rehabilitation Project. A one day workshop used FPS to define the project needs and constraints, made the two mega projects, the Turcot Interchange and the MUHC compatible, reduced capital costs, maximize the urban value of more than 100 hectares of prime land and enabled the continuation of Turcot project planning process.
